Config Intelligence: a Korean robot foundation model built on 150,000 hours of action data

2026-10-14 Robots

From the Robots digest for 2026-10-14

What happened: Korean startup Config Intelligence has amassed over 150,000 hours of robot action data and is building CFG-1, a foundation model trained on it (Sedaily, ~12:49 PM ET October 14).

Debut: a new robot-foundation-model company in the record — a lane adjacent to the platform layer already on file (Intrinsic, NVIDIA Isaac/Halos, Qualcomm's MoveIt acquisition) and to Intel's same-day "robot brain" pivot (section 4). Data scale is the pitch, and the data claim is company-framed.

Watch: CFG-1's release or sampling status, benchmark or deployment evidence, and whose robots train on it.
