Agility × FORT Robotics: the safety campaign goes offboard

Robots

From the Robots digest for Oct 1, 2026

Agility's safety-first campaign (the humility war's product layer) extends past the robot: a partnership/MOU with FORT Robotics, and a new Offboard Safety Bridge that connects Digit to the safety systems already running in a facility — "protection holds whether the signal comes from the robot or the facility." Companion piece: "Agility Robotics wants to make 500 humanoid robots safe, not just one" — fleet-safety framing ahead of the SPAC close.

What's genuinely new: the safety architecture is being positioned as facility-facing infrastructure, not a robot feature — consistent with the Digit 5 trilemma (IEEE, Sep 15) and the watch for published validation methods.
