2026-10-13 (first record): NYSOFA (New York State Office for the Aging) expands its partnership with Intuition Robotics under a new three-year, $2.1 million agreement to roll the ElliQ companion robot out to more seniors (The Robot Report, ~7:22 PM ET) — the record's first state-funded eldercare social-robot deal with a dated contract and dollar figure, contract-grade rather than announcement-grade, and a lane distinct from both warehouse/factory automation and defense/public-safety humanoid procurement. Watch: unit counts and named deployment sites, senior-usage outcome reporting, renewal/termination terms, and whether other state aging offices match.
