2026-09-25 (industrial base, flagged): Bloomberg Línea
(single source — Spanish-language, weight accordingly): SpaceX
displacing York on key Golden Dome contracts, deepening Pentagon
dependence on SpaceX. Consistent with the disclosure-era frame:
the counterspace layer is consolidating on the launch primes.
Hold weight until a US-side outlet confirms the contract moves.
2026-09-23 UK on the record (BBC, ~1:01 PM ET): the RAF has been jamming/blocking other
nations' satellites for the past year (ground-based, used "to deter our adversaries",
aimed at hostile tracking of UK nuclear subs/special forces); new RAF Space Effects
Squadron ("disrupt, degrade, deny"); Streeting at UK Space Conference: GPS loss would
cost the UK £1.4B/day (~$1.9B, approximate). Context: the US confirmed for the first time
last week that it has deployed an unspecified "weapon" in space (China + Russia condemned);
ex-head of UK Space Command has said Russia tries to jam UK satellites weekly. Watch for:
more states disclosing, whether the UN GGE/instrument track reacts, Russian/Chinese
counter-disclosures.
The thread: governments deliberately disclosing offensive counterspace capabilities — a
disclosure era for space weapons, watched against the arms-race frame China and Russia
keep attaching to it.
